The satellite shelters, located at Hudson Valley RECAP and Cornerstone Family Healthcare, will offer food and water, as well as additional assistance to people who need help with federal or state agencies.
Like much of the City of Newburgh, Maloney’s congressional district office is without power, and constituents are encouraged to call his Washington, D.C. office at 202-225-5441.
“After (Hurricanes) Sandy and Irene, the Hudson Valley pulled together – and we’re going to do the same thing after these tornadoes – I want my office to be part of that effort, and we’re here to help,” Maloney said on Thursday. “Whether it’s basic necessities like food and water – or helping small businesses and farmers get help – we’ve got your back.”

- Cornerstone Family Healthcare at 147 Lake St., Newburgh, NY 12550
Maloney’s staff has been in touch with local and state officials, as well as the relevant utility companies in the Hudson Valley since the storm wreaked havoc on the area. His office compiled this resource guide to ensure people have the information they need to stay up to date on developments regarding the restoration of power.
All constituents who need assistance directly from the Congressman’s office are advised to call his Washington, D.C. office at (202) 225-5441 or to visit one of the two satellite office locations. These locations will remain open until power is restored to Maloney’s district office.
